We can satisfy almost every fisherman, the mountains offer everything from big lakes, wild rapids to gentle creeks. There are 8800 lakes and 300 km of running water in the municipality so when it comes to the amount of fishing spots, we can brag about it! It is allowed to fish in most of the lakes and streams if you have the right fishing permit.

Arctic Char and Brown Trout is the most common species in the mountains. But there are many good Grayling spots as well. The PiteƄ River Grayling is well known for its big size and fighting spirit. Very often commented by the famous fly fisherman and author Gunnar Westrin. The Arctic Char is often referred as the queen of the mountain lakes with its beautiful red belly and excellent taste.
